Here at PocketTrainer we understand fitness businesses come in all shapes and sizes. To cater to this we have a simple one size fits all pricing plan. Its simple, we take 1% of gross revenue on the day of settlement. There is no need to change plans as your business grows, or you decide to take a break.
That equates to around $1 a week per client on average!
P.S – No credit card required.
Once you have signed up with PocketTrainer you will receive an email with the next steps to complete to get you started. This includes creating a merchant account with our payment partner Ezypay, which will allow you to start automating payment plans with your clients.

As part of the merchant sign up process with Ezypay you are required to have a business number, these are easy to apply for and does not reuire you to register a company, you can use your individual tax code to sign up, here are the links for you to apply:

You can add the web-app bookmark to your Home Screen if you’re using an iOS or Android device, and it operates just like an app!
To add PocketTrainer to your Home Screen, follow these steps:
iOS device
If you’re using an iOS device:
- Open Safari and go to the PocketTrainer website
- Select the Share icon from the bottom (the page with up pointing arrow shown below)
- Select Add to Home Screen and add
- The tile will be added to your home screen!
Android device
With an Android device:
- Open your browser and go to the PocketTrainer website
- Press the Settings button (3 vertical dots on the top right of the screen)
- Press the star symbol—where you can edit the page name and choose a folder to save it to
- Go back to the browser settings menu, and open the Bookmarks folder. Select the PocketTrainer bookmark which will give a list of options
- Select ‘Add to Home Screen’
If you’re not satisfied with the services PocketTrainer offers, you can cancel at any time, all you need to do is contact admin@pockettrainer.co.nz and we will help you through this process.
Settlement for payments is every Wednesday. However, before a payment can be transferred to your account it must go through a 3 day “holding” period. Because of this we recommend that you charge your clients between monday to thursday of the week prior to ensure that you have all payments deposited the following wednesday (the week of the clients training).

Yes. For you or your client to be able to have access to the clients portal or dashboard after 7 days you will need to have an active subscription attached to that client.

If a clients payment fails both you and your client will recieve email notification of this. There are 3 ways to reconcile this.
- In your clients email they will have the ability to pay the invoice directly with a debit/credit card.
- The payment will automatically retry after 3 days.
- You can search your “past due” in the reports page and click the “retry” button.

Client Management
Once you have completed the sign up process with your client, an email will be sent to the client which will outline the steps needed to get them set up with their own portal.
We advise you work through that process with your client to ensure they are set up and ready to make the most of their training experience with you.
One of the features of PocketTrainer is the ability to store data.
An active client is a client currently working with you.
An inactive client means they have stopped working with you, and you no longer have billing attached to that client, their profile will be moved to the inactive clients tab. You can always bring a client out of the inactive clients tab by selecting the red/green slider button on the top right of a clients page, this will then take you to the billing section to set them back up as an active client.

Yes, your client has the ability to update all programs you create. They can do this by logging into there web-app portal you have helped them set up during the sign up process and selecting “active workouts”.
Your clients are also able to update their measurements and bodyfat percentage through their own portal.
